American Vintage IIは、音楽の歴史を変えた革新的なエレクトリックギターとベースを、極めて正確に再現したシリーズです。当時の仕様を忠実に反映したボディシェイプ、ネック、ハードウェア構成、プレミアムなフィニッシュ、そして年代別にヴォイシングされ細部にまでこだわり抜いたピックアップを搭載し、本物のFenderクラフトマンシップとトーンのエッセンスを凝縮した一本です。
1973年には、CBSデザインが標準仕様となり、そのスペックをまとったフェンダーのギターとベースが世界中のロック、ファンク、フュージョン、プログレのプレイヤーに広く使用されるようになりました。毎週深夜に放送された『Don Kirshnerʼs Rock Concert』や『Midnight Special』などの音楽番組により、フェンダー製品はこれまで以上に人々の目の前に登場し、ポップカルチャーにおけるStratocasterの存在感を高めることになったのでした。
American Vintage II 1973 Stratocaster®は、Pure Vintage '73 Staggered Poleピックアップを3基搭載し、デュアルストリングツリー仕様のラージヘッドストック、ヘッドに配置された便利なBulletスタイルトラスロッドナット、Micro-Tilt™付きの3ボルト式ネックプレートなどを装備しています。1973 “C”シェイプのメイプルネックに21本のヴィンテージトールフレットを配した7.25インチラジアスのメイプルまたはローズウッド指板を採用し、まるで1973年に舞い戻ったかのような、当時の楽器の演奏性を彷彿させます。フェンダーのアイコニックなギターシェイプを讃えて開発されたAmerican Vintage II 1973 Stratocasterは、アッシュボディにAged Natural、Lake Placid Blue、Mochaという3種類のフィニ ッシュをラインナップしています。MochaはStratocasterでBlackピックガードを採用した初のモデルです。その他、ヴィンテージスタイルのFロゴチューニングマシン、ベントスチールサドルとコールドロールド（冷間圧延）スチールブロック付きのシンクロナイズドトレモロといったプレミアムな仕様を備えています。

VINTAGE-STYLE HARDWARE
