American Vintage IIは、音楽の歴史を変えた革新的なエレクトリックギターとベースを、極めて正確に再現したシリーズです。当時の仕様を忠実に反映したボディシェイプ、ネック、ハードウェア構成、プレミアムなフィニッシュ、そして年代別にヴォイシングされ細部にまでこだわり抜いたピックアップを搭載し、本物のFenderクラフトマンシップとトーンのエッセンスを凝縮した一本です。
独特の色気に満ちた曲線、きらめくサウンド、画期的なトレモロブリッジを備えたStratocaster®が1954年に登場した時、これまで見たこともない真新しさに全世界が驚愕しました。様々なアップデートを経て、1957年には世紀を代表するギターのひとつの完成形にまで進化を遂げました。
American Vintage II 1957 Stratocasterは、Pure Vintage ཱུ Stratocasterピックアップを3基搭載し、滑らかなボディコンター、7.25インチラジアスのメイプル指板を備えたVシェイプネックが特徴で、1957年に存在していたオリジナルモデルのトーンとフィーリングを再現しています。また、コールドロールド（冷間圧延）スチールブロックとベントスチールサドルを備えた当時のスペックを忠実に再現したシンクロナイズドトレモロ、Fender Deluxeチューニングマシン、1-plyピックガードなどのプレミアムな仕様が採用されています。

ASH OR ALDER BODY
アッシュはクリアで温かいトーンを持つ木材で、明るい高音域、はっきりとした中音域、輪郭のある低音域、そして美しい木目模様が特徴。アルダーは、タイトな中音域と力強い低音域のバランスのとれたトーンが特徴です。

PURE VINTAGE '57 STRATOCASTER PICKUPS
Pure Vintageピックアップは、各年代のトーンを再現するために特別にボイシングされ、フェンダーの黄金期のピックアップと同じ構造になっています。素材には、クロスカバードワイヤー、ファイバーボビン、アルニコマグネットを使用しています。
VINTAGE-STYLE HARDWARE
ブリッジからストリングツリー、チューニングマシンに至るまで、American Vintage IIハードウエアの全てのパーツは、オリジナルと同様の外観、サウンド、機能を持っています。また、そのハードウエアの多くは、50年代、60年代のフェンダーが使用していたオリジナルの機械で製造されています。
