2023年のFender Custom Shopコレクションである1950 Double Esquireは、Fenderの初期のソリッドボディギターの歴史を深く掘り下げます。シングルピックアップのエスクァイアは、フェンダー初のソリッドボディエレクトリックスパニッシュギターとして1950年4月にデビューし、同年10月には2ピックアップモデルが加わりました。新しい1950 Double Esquireは、その年代のモデルに敬意を表しており、精巧に作られた独特な組み合わせにより、唯一無二の逸品となっています。
バランスの取れた高音域と生き生きとした鳴りを生む甘い中音域をもたらすツーピースのセレクトアッシュボディは、オフセンターシームがあり、デラックスクローゼットクラシック・フェイディッドノーキャスターブロンド、ジャーニーマンレリック・ノーキャスターブロンド、レリックエイジド・ノーキャスターブロンド、またはヘビーレリックエイジド・ノーキャスターブロンドをラインナップしています。それぞれの仕上げ仕上げは、何十年にもわたり細心の注意を払って使用されてきたギターの外観とフィーリングを醸し出しています。
ワンピースのリフトソーンメイプルネックは、1950年スタイルの「ブラックガード」プロファイルで、快適な当時のフルハンドフィールを正確に再現し、21本のミディアムフレット(47095)とボーンナットを備えたヴィンテージコンパウンドラジアス（7.5インチ-9.5インチ）のメイプル指板が組み合わされています。ʼ51 NocasterをモディファイしたCustom Shop hand-wound ʼ50-ʼ51 Blackguardピックアップを二基搭載し、バランスの取れたミッドレンジとローエンドとクリアで歯切れの良い高音をもたらし、両方のピックアップのブレンドコントロールで多彩なサウンドメイクが可能です。
その他のプレミアム機能としては、シングルプライのブラックフェノールピックガード、3ウェイピックアップスイッチ、ブラスバレルサドル付き'51-'54Telecaster®ブリッジ、ヴィンテージスタイルチューナー、ディスクストリングツリーを備え、デラックスハードシェルケース、ストラップ、正規製品証明書が付属します。
